There are two types of information discussed here:
– personal information: name, mailing address, credit card number
– standard information: time and date, web browser version, time spent on pages
NLFiddlers.org does not collect personal information. Even if you apply for membership, the personal information you provide is hand-written on a printed paper form rather than submitted to the website. Only standard information is collected.
Like all websites on the internet, NLFiddlers.org collects standard information that you provide automatically to every website that you visit. It is sent automatically by your web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc).
Google Analytics is used to measure site traffic but nothing defined above as personal information is collected; only standard information is collected by Google Analytics.
Standard information may include the following:
- IP address of your computer, tablet or phone
- browser type
- browser version
- the pages of NLFiddlers.org that you visit
- the time and date of your visit
- the time spent on those pages and their statistics
